New Hanover County

Coastal homes have their own rules.

Wilmington isn’t Raleigh. It isn’t Pinehurst. Coastal properties come with their own mix: beach rentals in Wrightsville that turn over every week, downtown Wilmington condos with concrete walls, brand-new builds in Leland and Porters Neck, and second homes in Kure Beach that only see the owner a few weekends a year.

Every one of those needs a slightly different approach. We\u2019ve been installing TVs across the coast long enough to know what holds up in a rental and what looks right in a family beach house.

Vacation Rentals & Beach Homes

Built for high-turnover rentals.

Your Airbnb, VRBO, or Vacasa property sees dozens of guests a season. Every one of them touches the TV, moves furniture around it, sometimes bumps the mount. A cheap install won’t survive that.

We install with quality mounts, real studs, and clean cables — the way rental TVs actually need to be done. And when it’s time to swap the TV for a bigger one or change layouts, we come back for the dismount/remount.

  • Consistent style across every unit in your portfolio
  • Multi-TV pricing for whole-house installs
  • Property manager coordination and invoicing
  • Between-renter dismounts and repairs available

Coastal Installs We Do Constantly

Every coastal property is a little different. Here’s what most calls look like.

Beach houses & family second homes

Living room + primary bedroom + guest rooms + bonus room, all in one visit. Consistent style and level TVs throughout the whole house.

  • Multi-TV whole-house install
  • Level and centered every time
  • Wire concealment where possible

Condos with concrete walls

Wrightsville, downtown Wilmington, and Kure Beach mid-rise condos often have concrete or CMU behind the drywall. We drill masonry-rated anchors safely.

  • Correct masonry hardware
  • No cracked veneer or drywall damage
  • Cables tucked cleanly

Vacation rental turnovers

Between renters or between owners: dismount old TV, patch small holes, remount new one. Property managers can invoice on file for repeat work.

  • Dismount + remount in one visit
  • Small anchor-hole patching
  • Consistent rental-friendly install standards

Fireplace & great room installs

Larger beach homes often have great rooms with fireplaces or gas inserts. Brick, stone, and drywall fireplace mounts done right.

  • Correct anchors for the wall type
  • Cord raceway matched to grout line
  • Safe heat clearance

A quick honest note about outdoor & covered-porch installs.

We do install TVs on covered porches, screened lanais, and other outdoor-adjacent locations — as long as the TV is rated for that location (outdoor-rated TVs or well-protected covered spaces). Coastal humidity, salt air, and moisture will destroy a standard indoor TV mounted in the wrong spot. We’ll tell you honestly whether your specific setup is going to work before we install anything.

Downtown & Beachfront Condos

Concrete walls & tight condo spaces.

A lot of Wilmington beachfront and downtown condos have concrete or masonry construction behind the drywall — great for hurricane resistance, harder to mount a TV into. We come prepared with masonry drill bits and heavy-duty anchors rated for the load.

For tight condo layouts where an in-wall cable run isn’t possible, we use paintable raceway that hugs the wall low-profile so it disappears against paint. Nothing dangles.

Wilmington TV Mounting FAQs

Common questions from coastal homeowners and property managers.

Do you mount TVs in Wilmington vacation rentals and beach houses?

Yes — this is one of our most common Wilmington calls. Wrightsville, Carolina Beach, and Kure Beach rental properties need clean, consistent installs that guests won’t knock loose. We use quality anchors and mounts, keep cables tucked, and can coordinate with property managers for multi-unit jobs.

Can you install multiple TVs across a single rental property?

Yes. Beach houses often have 3-6 TVs — living room, primary bedroom, guest rooms, sometimes a bonus room or covered porch. Bundling them into one appointment saves you a trip fee and keeps every install consistent across the whole property.

Do you serve Leland, Hampstead, and Castle Hayne?

Yes. Leland (Brunswick County), Hampstead (Pender County), Castle Hayne, Ogden, and the surrounding coastal communities are all inside our regular Wilmington service area. Just call or text with your address and we’ll confirm.

Can you install a TV on a covered porch or lanai?

Only if the location is truly suitable and the TV is rated for it — outdoor-rated TVs, or fully covered/screened porches out of direct weather. We won’t install a standard indoor TV somewhere that will damage it. We’ll tell you honestly whether your spot works.

Do you provide the TV mount, or do I supply it?

Either. We keep quality fixed, tilting, and full-motion mounts on the truck. If you already have a mount — or if your property manager wants a specific one — we’ll install with whatever you supply as long as it’s rated for the TV.

Can you dismount TVs during a property turnover?

Yes. Between renters, when you’re selling a coastal property, or when replacing an older TV — we can dismount cleanly, patch small anchor holes if needed, and remount the new TV in the same visit if you have one.

Can you mount TVs on Wilmington condos with concrete walls?

Yes. Many high-rise and mid-rise condos along Wrightsville and downtown Wilmington have concrete or CMU walls behind the drywall. We drill with the correct masonry bits, use anchors rated for the load, and keep cables clean.

Do you work with vacation rental management companies?

Yes. If you manage multiple coastal rentals and want consistent TV installs across your portfolio — same style mount, same wire treatment, same standard — we can coordinate multi-unit scheduling and invoicing.
